JAPANESE BUSINESS CONCEPT OF THE WEEK

Kyosei
English translation: "Living and working together for the common good”

It’s easy to become focused on our own worlds.

👉 My work
👉 My goals
👉 My business

But when you pause, observe, and reflect — you’ll realize it’s not so much about ‘me’, but more about ‘us’.

Kyosei encourages both individuals and organizations to:

👉 Think about the bigger picture;
👉 Collaborate instead of compete; and
👉 Unite for the greater good

This Japanese ideology, which serves as the foundation of Canon’s corporate philosophy, highlights how helping those around us ultimately helps us accomplish our own goals.
